1.0 Registration
Early registration is recommended because classes fill quickly. A discount is available for early registration. Confirmation of your booking will be made by email as soon as possible upon receipt of payment. This confirmation will be sent to the email address given on the booking form, unless otherwise required. 2.0 Payment
Unless prior arrangements have been made in advance, payment is due in full prior to the start of the event to which it refers. Registration fees include the following:
  • Tuition
  • Training materials, handouts and exercises
  • Snacks and beverages
Course Fees DO NOT include travel, accommodations, or expenses incurred by attendees. All travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the customer.

3.0 Tax Information

GST will be charged unless your organization is GST exempt. You must provide proof of GST exemption when you submit your registration. Costs including fees, travel, lodging, and a portion of meal expenses related to attending a DigitalDefence training course may be tax deductible as a business expense by the attendee. Contact your tax advisor to ascertain whether you qualify for this tax deductible business expense.

4.0 Cancellations
Cancellations for an event made in writing and received on or before 21 days prior to the published start date of the event will be refunded less a $50 handling fee. Cancellations for an event received within less than 21 days of the published start date of the event will not be refunded, and the full invoice fee will be payable regardless of whether you attend the event or not. Students who do not cancel and do not attend the course are responsible for the full registration fee.
 
5.0 Transferability
All pre-paid fees may be transferred to a future course. Registrations for any course may be transferred to a colleague at any time. Please notify us by e-mail, fax, or mail, prior to the start of the course.

6.0 Prerequisites
Some courses have prerequisites that the DigitalDefence educational experts believe to be the minimum requirements for successful course completion. Meeting these prerequisites ensures a more profitable learning environment for both you and the entire class. If you are in doubt about your experience, please contact DigitalDefence for assistance in determining if this is the proper class for you.

7.0 Class Information
Unless noted in the course confirmation letter, registration begins at 8:30 on the first morning of the course. Classes start at 9:00 a.m. and end by 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. each day. For security reasons, DigitalDefence does not allow access to the Internet or to e-mail from classroom computers. Classroom temperatures do fluctuate. Please bring a light jacket or sweater to ensure your comfort level. Recording devices, including video and audio, are not permitted in the classroom.

8.0 Copyright

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents, design rights and know-how in or relating to the course or course materials provided or made available in connection with the course, remain the sole property of their authors and no copies of course materials may be made unless expressly agreed in writing by DigitalDefence.

9.0 Special Needs

If you have a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation, please send DigitalDefence a description (space is provided on the online registration form) of that accommodation along with your advance registration at least ten working days before the course begins.

10.0 Schedule Changes

DigitalDefence reserves the right to make changes in the scheduled programme(s) or even cancel a course should circumstances require. We will give registrants the maximum possible notice of such changes. DigitalDefence is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of travel arrangements made in advance.
